![]() ![]() Points are lost in the Ticket to Ride game if you do not successfully complete the route given on the destination ticket you kept. The player in Ticket to Ride must do any one of the three actions: Draw Train car cards, claim a Route or Draw Destination Tickets. Ticket to Ride game ends when any player's train stock gets down to 0, 1, or 2 at the end of his turn then each player including that player gets one final turn. Destination tickets are kept secret from other players until the game’s final scoring. After drawing one card, if the replacement card is a locomotive, then the player cannot take it. If the locomotive card is one of the five face-up cards the player who draws it may only draw one card instead of two. Locomotives are multicolored and act as wild cards that can be part of any set of cards when claiming a route. Players must keep at least two destination tickets but may keep all three if they choose. Any returned card needs to be placed at the bottom of the destination ticket deck. Players look at their destination ticket and decide which one they wish to keep. Deal 3 destination ticket cards each to the player. The top five train car cards from the deck are placed face-up. Each Player gets 45 colored train car cards and 4 train car cards. 110 train cards and 14 locomotives (wild cards), 30 destination tickets. Ticket to Ride is played with 2 - 4 Players.
